Hi there, I’m Mike, an avid photographer with nature and wildlife as my main subjects, driven by my passion for observing and capturing the beauty and wonder of the natural world. With every deliberate release of my camera’s shutter, I aim to convey the essence and emotions that I see and feel at that moment.

As an aspiring blogger/writer, I hope to offer compelling and often philosophical observations that extend from those emotions. Through my experience with photography, observation of the natural world, and plain ol’ life, I hope to inspire deeper thought, appreciation, and reflection. I welcome all to join me on this visual and literary journey as we explore life’s adventures, the untamed realms of nature, and whatever else may rise to the road and meet us.

I enjoy being outdoors involved in a variety of activities such as kayaking, hiking, mountain (trail) biking, and hanging out on any beach. I’m a husband, father, and grandfather who loves spending time with family.
